Bio
Dr. Barbero, a native of Massapequa, New York, started her academic journey at Long Island University, where she majored in Marketing and played on the Women’s Soccer team. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Barbero worked in New York City while dedicating her spare time to rescuing dogs and volunteering at local animal hospitals.
Driven by her passion for veterinary medicine, Dr. Barbero made the significant decision to pursue her veterinary education at the University of Tennessee. During her time in veterinary school, she developed a keen interest in small animal surgery, orthopedics, and dermatology.
Currently, as a rotating intern at IndyVet, Dr. Barbero is committed to contributing to the supportive and generous community that has welcomed her. In her leisure time, she enjoys paddle boarding with her dog, Harley Davidson Jr., hiking, and traveling to visit friends and family across the country.
