Heather Kloft

Bio

Dr. Heather Kloft grew up in Oxford, OH. She studied finance at Miami University and commissioned into the United States Navy as an Ensign. Dr. Kloft served seven years on active duty, completing deployments to the Middle East, East Asia, and Central America. She served onboard USS HOPPER (DDG 70) as the Gunnery Officer and USS GUNSTON HALL (LSD 44) as the Training Officer, along with shore tours including Executive Officer Navy Operational Support Center Indianapolis, Flag Aide Commander Navy Personnel Command, and Education and Subspecialty Manager PERS 450 Navy Personnel Command. Dr. Kloft chose to transition to Reserve Duty in order to earn her DVM at the University of Tennessee. After graduation, Dr. Kloft completed a rotating internship and surgical specialty internship at IndyVet Emergency and Specialty Hospital, before surgical residency at Louisiana State University.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Kloft still serves in the Navy Reserves, loves to travel in her free time, and enjoys spending time with her significant other, Chad, and their pack Sophie (French Bulldog), Milli (French Bulldog), Luna (cat), and Sage (cat).
