Hanna graduated from Baker College of Port Huron, Michigan in 2009 with an Associates in Veterinary Technology. She worked in general practice for two years where she became interested in emergency medicine. Hanna moved across the state to Kalamazoo, Michigan were she worked at an emergency and referral hospital for five years and fell in love with the fast-paced life of the emergency world. She saw many critical cases but wanted more. Hanna joined IndyVet Emergency and Specialty Hospital after getting her Veterinary Technician Specialty in Emergency and Critical Care in 2021.
Hanna is currently the head technician of the Critical Care Unit at IndyVet. She has the special skill of keeping the calm during critical cases; a skill that is needed for such sensitive situations. She has a passion for Addisonian Crisis’, one-on-one critical patient care, traumatic injuries, critical procedures, fear free handling, nutrition, and Military/Police canines. Hanna is an Animal Care Specialist in the Army and facilitates proper care of our military working dogs during their times of preventative care and times of trauma.
