Danielle Martindale

DVM, MS, DACVECC

Bio

Dr. Martindale is a native of South Bend, Indiana, who completed her veterinary degree at the University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). She then briefly left for a one year Small Animal Rotating Internship at VCA Arboretum View in Downers Grove, IL, before returning to UIUC for her residency in Emergency and Critical Care. Dr. Martindale will be completing her residency training this July 2023, and can’t wait to live in Indiana again when she joins the IndyVet family! While her favorite part of ECC is the fast-paced, on your feet thinking it requires, Dr. Martindale especially enjoys taking care of patients with respiratory compromise and trauma.
Dr. Martindale lives at home with her husband, Jesse, her dog (Prudence) and two cats (Nigel and Monty). Their family enjoys hiking, visiting wineries, and playing cooperative board games. Dr. Martindale‘s very favorite hobby is baking, and she particularly enjoys creating layer cakes.
Dr. Martindale will be joining the IndyVet Critical Care Department in October 2023.
