It’s important to keep your dog active as part of a healthy lifestyle. You can certainly walk your dog or run with your them, but there are also all kinds of other activities and competitions that you can get your dog into to help them stay active. Everything from agility competitions, disc tournaments (frisbee throwing and rolling), obedience competitions and more!
At this year’s IndyVet Pet Carnival – Saturday, July 15th from 10am – 2pm, we’ll be showcasing all of these activities and competitive events. Runamuk Disc Dogs will be performing and giving demonstrations to show people how they train their disc dogs. There will be agility demonstrations and an agility course set up so that visitors can let their own pets try a course. In addition, there will also be the inaugural IndyVet Dachshund 500 wiener dog event!
The Dachshund 500 is all about FUN! The competition will be a 50-foot, straight line race that will take place in 3 divisions – puppies, adults and seniors with 36 entrants in each division. The BEST part is YOUR DACHSHUND OR ALMOST DACHSHUND CAN ENTER!
