Bio
Dr. Lindsey Summers is originally from Greenwood, IN, and started her IndyVet career as a veterinary assistant during college. She graduated from Purdue University with her bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences with a minor in Biology then received her DVM degree from the University of Illinois. She returned to IndyVet Emergency & Specialty Hospital and completed her year-long rotating internship. Dr. Summers finished her three-year residency program with Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA.
Her interest areas in small animal internal medicine include gastroenterology, endocrinology, clinical pathology, nephrology (extracorporeal therapies) and ultrasonography.
In Dr. Summers’ free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and doggo Lanie as well as trying new restaurants and frequenting farmers’ markets.
