IndyVet's (Virtual) Pet Carnival

One Awesome Week, Starting Aug. 24th

This year, due to the present concern over COVID-19, IndyVet’s annual Pet Carnival will now be virtual!  Now a weeklong fundraising effort to benefit Beacon of Hope, our annual pet carnival will have a number of fun events for you to contribute as well as have fun.

Here's the schedule of events:

What is the Foster Pet Program?

When victims leave an abusive relationship to enter a shelter or temporary housing facility that does not allow pets, the victim will contact Beacon of Hope to make arrangements for temporary foster pet care. The overarching goal of the Foster Pet Program is to support victims of domestic violence as they leave their abusive relationships by providing temporary care for their pets.

A sobering statistic from Beacon of Hope: 40% of domestic violence victims are unable to escape their abusers because they are concerned about what will happen to their pets when they leave.

Help us provide hope for domestic abuse victims and advocate for those who cannot speak by being part of this week of fun activities as well as providing whatever donation you can!

Large & Small Dog Pie Eating Contest hosted at IndyVet Emergency & Specialty Hospital will be held on August 29th, 2020 in person at IndyVet: 5425 Victory Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46203. Thanks to Wesson’s Canine Bakery for donating the pies!
