Dr. Fizer grew up in southeastern Virginia and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Old Dominion University in 2015. He then moved to Los Angeles and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in 2019.
Dr. Fizer moved to Indianapolis to do his small animal rotating internship and would like to pursue further residency training in veterinary pathology and contribute to veterinary research. His special interests are cancer, cell biology, and canine cognitive dysfunction as it relates to Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr. Fizer has had dogs his whole life, and his favorite breeds are large breeds. He enjoys fitness, traveling, and good food.
