Bio
Dr. Mossine grew up in the Midwest and South in a family of educators. As a youngster, she recognized her love of animals as well as her interest in education. Dr. Mossine followed her love of animals by attending and graduating from the University Of Missouri College Of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. It was during her veterinary education that she became interested in neurology and became fascinated with the medical and surgical aspects of the nervous system in veterinary medicine. Following graduation, she continued her training by completing a one-year rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, and a four-year neurology residency at Dogwood Veterinary Referral Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Mossine has a special interest in inflammatory diseases of the nervous system, seizure management, traumatic brain injury, and intervertebral disc disease.
Dr. Mossine loves the specialty of neurology because it allows her to educate clients regarding the complexities of the nervous system so they may make informed management decisions to help their four-legged family members with disorders of the nervous system.
In her time out of the practice, Dr. Mossine enjoys crafting, reading, visiting family, travelling to new places, and spending time with her husband Andy and their pets (Cassidy, Wicket, Priscilla, and NATO).
