Enjolie Levengood

Dr. Levengood grew up in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.  She knew since a child that she wanted to be a veterinarian.  She traveled around the world and volunteered at multiple shelters and shadowed veterinarians wherever she went.  Dr. Levengood attended St. Lawrence University in New York for her undergraduate education.  She studied Biology, Chemistry, and Performance & Communication arts to better prepare her for her veterinary career.  She then attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and received a master’s degree on the study of environmental antibiotic resistance of the local James River.

Dr. Levengood pursued her veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and attended the University of Edinburgh, Scotland for her clinical year.  During her studies, Dr. Levengood fell in love with the complexity and diversity of Internal Medicine during her schooling and began to pursue the route of specialization.  She completed externships with the Internal Medicine department of multiple specialty hospitals.  She completed her Small Animal Rotating Internship at Veterinary Specialty Center in Illinois.

When not working, Dr. Levengood enjoys playing tabletop games, watching movies, and dancing.  She is an avid cook and loves preparing new meals each week.  She also has a cat named Margot, who enjoys a great cuddle.
