What We Do
Our facility is an extension of your veterinarian. All pets are seen for their referred problem only. Routine veterinary care is not performed.
Upon arrival, the doctor will review your records, take a complete history and perform a detailed examination. These steps become the basis for your pet's diagnostic work-up and treatment.
Our dedicated staff of doctors and veterinary technicians work around-the-clock monitoring, treating, and caring for your pet.
Communication at our hospital is ongoing, with daily updates to the pet owner and referring veterinarian.
Upon discharge, a detailed synopsis of every case is mailed to your veterinarian, along with a copy of your pet's discharge instructions, laboratory work, and radiographs.
The information we provide you and your veterinarian will ensure the best possible care after your pet goes home.
IVR is an AAHA certified critical care hospital, open 24/7/365.
Estimates & Fees
All clients are given an itemized care plan upon examination detailing the initial 24 to 48 hours of hospitalization. A deposit is due upon admission.
Clients are informed daily of their fees by a doctor or a technician. Balances are paid upon discharge unless prior arrangements have been made.
You may make payments by Cash, Check, Mastercard, Visa, Discover or Care Credit.
Suture removal after surgical procedures is performed at no charge.
24-Hour Scheduling
Clients are seen by scheduled appointments. However, if your veterinarian would like to refer you the same day, or after hours, our facility can accommodate you.
If a specialist is not immediately available, the emergency doctor on duty will examine your pet and immediately contact the specialist for a consultation regarding your pet's condition.
Many times animals need to be sedated for radiographs or tests. We ask that you not feed your pet within 12 hours of scheduled appointments.
In order to hasten a diagnosis, please bring any laboratory results or radiographs your referring veterinarian may have taken.
