Dr. Mathews
James Mathews, DVM

Dr. Mathews was born in Atlanta, Ga. He attended the University of Vermont, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a minor in Animal Science. After deciding to pursue veterinary medicine as a career, he attended Georgia State University to obtain the necessary prerequisites for veterinary school. He subsequently attended the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2016 being inducted into the Phi Zeta veterinary academic honor society. Dr. Mathews lives with his cat Harvey, who he adopted during his first year of veterinary school.

Dr. Mathews has a strong interest in Cardiology, and plans to pursue a residency in cardiology. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and traveling.

Dr. Ewing
Trenton Ewing, DVM

Dr. Trenton Ewing grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. Having a strong interest in animals Dr. Ewing worked in both a veterinary clinic and a local zoo. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University in 2012 with a minor in Spanish. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2016.

Dr. Ewing has an interest in dermatology and pathology. When not at work he spends his time with his fiancé, Molly and their pets, a dog named Bear and two cats, named Toby and Ella. Dr. Ewing likes to do judo and enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, and reading.

Dr. Zaremba
Rebecca Zaremba, DVM

Dr. Rebecca Zaremba grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In 2005 she moved to Indiana to attend Purdue University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences. Following graduation from Purdue, she was accepted for and attended veterinary school at Ross University on the island of St. Kitts. Dr. Zaremba subsequently transferred back to Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine to complete her veterinary education and graduated in May 2016.

Dr. Zaremba’s primary interest in veterinary medicine is emergency and critical care, and she plans to pursue board certification as a specialist in critical care. In addition to cats and dogs, she also likes to work with horses and camelids.

Dr. Zaremba has 3 horses named Summer Cow, Zen and Mouse. In her free time, she loves to go trail riding, hooping and watching Netflix with her Dachshund Mr. Frank!
